The Wild Life is the debut season of Pull The Thread, a true-crime podcast uncovering the global illegal wildlife trade. Told through the lens of a spy named Wolf, hosted by journalist Runako Celina, the series is produced by Luminary, DreamCrew, Novel, and Thread Studios. Here, I served as lead designer, creating the logo, intro motion graphics, and transitions.

The story’s tone required a visual identity that balanced espionage intrigue with journalistic gravity. The design had to evoke suspense and danger without sensationalizing real-world suffering. It also needed to feel cinematic, but flexible enough for cross-platform use—from audio players to video teasers.

I developed a sharp, noir-inspired logo and motion system that echoed spy thriller aesthetics while reinforcing the seriousness of the subject. Gritty textures, covert-style transitions, and a restrained color palette created a sense of urgency and secrecy. The result was a visual language that deepened the narrative’s impact and built cohesion across all campaign materials.
