The challenge for THRIFT MRKT was to create not just a logo, but a consistent brand design inspired by its core concept being an app for selling thrift tees and also relating it with the market value that is accompanied with each item.

The design strategy was simple. I first started with several stroke outlines for the t-shirt, then I broke off the bottom to add the market lines to signify price flunctuation. It took a good while to have a good and strong balance, but I was able to get it right by ensuring the design could fit a 1:1 frame while retaining consistent stroke width.
